Excellent training. Well thought out and organized. Good instructors and very likeable. There is a lot to take in.

The company has been very quick and very detailed about supporting any technical need we have had so far.

After researching several franchise opportunities on the web site Franchise Solutions I inquired about CTi. My initial contact was with Kert Rhodes and was both informative and positive. Over the next few months I was provided with all the information required to make an informed and confident decision to join the CTi Team. After the decision was made, Kert ensured I was thoroughly prepared for the training. He also ensured I had as much of an understanding as possible before training, of the initial Platinum dealer package I was purchasing.

It was nice to have the opportunity to meet and speak with Kevin Wed afternoon and again Thursday morning. In a couple of short conversations a lot of the stress associated with decision to transition from a relatively well paying secure job to the uncertainty of self employment was alleviated.

The logistics were completely taken care of right from the breakfast at the hotel in the morning to returning in the evening. Providing lunch kept the students in house and the videos kept them focused.

Part of my current job is to assess the ability of our future leaders to instruct and pass there knowledge on to the next generation. I have also spent many hours listening to unenthusiastic instructors standing in front of power point presentations they have very little knowledge on. I was thoroughly impressed with Ryan and Chucks ability to both instruct and pass on their knowledge. Using techniques such as explain, demonstrate and then participate were very effective. They were constantly engaging the students ensuring everyone was grasping the knowledge they were passing on. Questions were answered completely and they did not continue until everyone was confident in the process. Their knowledge and excitement of the product was inspiring. I could not imagine more information being passed on in that short time period. I left confident that with practice, I would be able to apply the product effectively.

Technical Support:

Having received a lot of vital information in such a short time period could leave someone overwhelmed and worried about applying the new found knowledge at an actual job sight. This was alleviated quickly by the entire CTi Teams insistence that they all would be available for any support required. Both Chuck and Ryan personally ensured me at the end of the training they would be available for any technical support required.

Marketing and Sales:

In regards to the training, Brad’s instruction was both informative and engaging. It was definitely a case of lead by example. He was able to take a very broad subject and narrow it down to the required basics which provided me with the confidence required to approach customers. This was an area I was most worried about do to lack of experience in Marketing and Sales. It was exciting to realize that the success of the Franchise was all ready built in to the dealership package.

Regarding our initial training, it was Excellent. While it was a lot to take in at one time, the training provided an excellent overview of the CTi systems. It by no means made us experts but gave us enough to build on and with the abundance of materials and resources and support I am confident we will become expert with time and experience. The customer friendly staff at CTi also enhanced the training.

Regarding the Technical Staff at CTi, Chuck and Ryan rock! They are a dynamic duo and made the training look easy. They were thorough and did not overlook anything even the simple but important things.

The marketing and sales training was excellent as well. Provided a comprehensive overview of how to market and sell the product and services touching on all aspects of sales and marketing. Manual is an excellent reference for ongoing use.

I'd like to take a moment and extend a hearty thanks to Kert, Brad, Ryan, Chuck and the rest of the team at CTi for making the training such a wonderful experience, all the way from meeting for breakfast to the many hands on techniques and experiences that came along with the training.

Technical support is great.  This is one of the many reasons why I decided to become a CTi Dealer.  CTi has technical support, guys who are readily available to help any day of the week and to me that means a lot!

The product sell themselves, I think CTi is a wonderful opportunity for anyone with  little motivation and some basic skills, and the products will speak for themselves!  I have only made a couple of sample boards and I already have two jobs booked.  I'm tellin you, these products definitely get people talking. If you want to strike up a conversation, take a sample board with you and you'll always have plenty of questions to answer.

Thanks again.

Brad,

I wanted to take the time to tell you how much I appreciate what you and the CTi team have put together for a dealer like me. I had so much fun at the training and got so much out of it.  I am excited about my future working alongside people like you, Kert, Chuck, Ryan and the rest of the team.  I really feel like I'm a part of the CTi family, now.  This opportunity is a huge blessing to my family and me, and I can hardly wait to start putting down tons of product for people here in Iowa.

I may have some questions for you on the technical side of the business here at some point if it's ok to shoot you a call or email?

Thanks, again, sir!

Hi guys, First let me say a big "Thank You" for the great initial training and your invaluable help, continued encouragement and prompt follow up.  All of which validates my decision to become a CTI Dealer.

Ethan, thank you for answering my questions in my first phone call to tech support yesterday.  Ryan, your call came as I was on the phone with Ethan and I really appreciate being in business with a company that proactively seeks to help a new dealer.....that speaks VOLUMES to me about the "two way street" that is supposed to exist in business from the "dealer" perspective and is both reasssuring and much appreciated.

Chuck, your team is GREAT and I am immediately impressed by the straight forward "here to help" attitude and with the "hands on" expertise in your department.

Kevin,

Terry and I wanted you know how much we appreciate our Arkansas distributors, Budd Clark and Paul Belden. We just returned from a 2-day training, which they arranged for us at our request. We specifically wanted them to train Terry’s brother, but Terry and I also wanted some one-on-one training to go over some of the basics and to make sure we were on track with applying and understanding the CTi products since being trained in Florida. In addition, we thought it would be highly beneficial to see our distributorship and to get to know Budd and Paul on a more personal level. They did a wonderful job training us and their professionalism and excellent service need to be noted. Every order we have placed, we have received in a timely manner and every time we call for help, they have been available and have known the answer. We feel very fortunate to be part of the CTi team and we thank Budd and Paul for all of their help.

Sincerely,

We just finished our first home show for the year and I don't think we'll have to do any more advertising. We have over 120 qualified leads, I've gone on 20 appointments already and I've sold EVERY SINGLE ONE! We're going to have to get busy figuring out how to keep up with the demand.

Ethan,

Per our phone conversation here are the results and how we went about our very successful Home Shows:

The first show we did was our local Builders Assoc. Home Show. This was to be a 3 day event but day 2 was cancelled due to a blizzard that hit PA 2/6/10. We acquired approx. 50 prequalified leads at this show. We offered a "register to win gift certificates" from a local restrauant in the area. I would not ask anyone to register to win until we spoke to the potential customer and they expressed interest in our services. Almost all 60 want me to contact them for a free estimate and I have already started setting those appointments. Pretty amazing for 2 days of exposure.

The second show we did was a national Home Show promotion company based out of New York.  This as well was a 3 day show over Valentines Day weekend with amazing turnout. We were the only company providing overlay services. Again we took the same approach with qualifying the leads with the "register to win". To our surprise we walked away from this show with close to 100 leads. And when I say leads I mean "solid" leads with high levels of interest.

We wanted to use these shows as a barometer of what the market will hold for us in 2010. At this point we feel that it will be a very busy year for us.

All,

Let me just say how much fun it is to do this work and work with all of you.  This past weekend we were in our first home show, arguably the biggest and most important to be in, in Michigan.  We are in 3 more as well between now and March 20th.  Attached you will find 2 things.  1. the 2 sided single page flyer we developed and we would be happy to provide to other dealers for a fee (Call me Brad).  2.  Are the pictures of us and our booth.  Take a look and give us any of your thoughts we welcome them.

From the time the doors opened on Friday until Sunday close our booth was packed.  We played the video which not only captivated people enough to where we were causing a traffic jam in front of our booth but answered some questions for people.  Of course you get the weekend warriors that say they can do that.  My reply to them is here is my card after you finish I will be glad to come out and fix it for you.  We put out a give away box we were giving away 10% off your next CCS project.  This box gave us 63 warm leads to follow up on of which we are seeing 2 tomorrow and we haven't even started aggressively calling to inform everyone they won the 10% off.  We handed out over 200 cards each, and over 700 2 sided flyers.  We were not just handing either to anyone.  We would catch people that got interested in the video and watch for the light bulb and then ask if they had any questions as we handed them a flyer and 100% of the time they did and had a project or 2 in mind.  We were busy enough and successful enough the surrounding booths were shocked this was our first show.  We had a customer looking for us 8 rows over and a stamped concrete guy reluctantly helped him to our booth.  We have a local do it yourself radio host and station (Glenn Hagey) at the show as well.  Neither of us spoke with him about us or the product and by Sunday people were coming to our booth because he mentioned us and the product on his show.  We don't know what he said but it must have been something good.

I just wanted to touch base and let you all know our story.  Thanks for your help in making this a successful show and for being there when we need you.  Ethan,  I am sending you another e-mail with questions that we have.   If I forgot anyone, it was not intentional.

Ethan/ Sean,

Here are some pictures for some of our recent jobs... we are learning on the fly but I have nothing bad to say... business is great!!

It looks like our first full three months in business Nov/Dec/Jan we will do almost $50k in revenues and that is with taking off 2 weeks for Thanksgiving and Christmas/ New Years.  Not bad especially considering we are running it with just myself and my brother.

Ethan- thanks to you for all your help especially on the Verizon Wireless job- they were very pleased and I will be doing 2 more stores for them in the January/ February time frame!!

With a down economy and end of the year timing I couldn't be happier with how business is going... thanks for everything guys!!

Have a great Christmas and New Years.... my wife and I are going to Italy for 8 days so I will talk to you suckers later!

Hey Chuck,

Before I bought into my CTI dealership, now know as Upstate Restoration & Design, located in Saratoga, NY, I had been searching around for quite some time.  After receiving the information packet and DVD, CTi had certainly caught my attention. My decision to buy in was the best decision I have ever made.

Living in NY, concrete takes quite a beating from the winters so the demand for a product to restore and protect is strong.  With me being only 22 years old I did not have much experience with running a business, nor was I a mason.  This, I soon found out, did not matter a bit.  I worked with a few friends around and set up a couple of jobs that I did for them, not much over cost. This was the best decision that I could have made.  From the three jobs I did, it allowed me and my foreman to practice with the product, get a routine down, as well as get the product out there.  From talking with the neighbors and telling them about the product, I was able to pick up two full priced jobs off each "Practice" job, right away booking jobs 3 weeks out.

Since that first two weeks, the product has continued to sell itself and spiderweb for me.  I bought in mid April and we are now into August continuing to build an excellent reputation for a long lasting, beautiful end product that is less expensive than the alternatives.  On top of this my average price right now for a simple Hallmark installation such as solid spray with brick border has been averaging $9 - $10 per sq. ft.  I would argue that when you are offering something that lasts, looks great and is most likely a cheaper alternative, the recession has helped more than hurt my business.

If any prospects are skeptical you can give them my number.  All I did was set up those three practice jobs while I was waiting for the training session/product shipment.  Also, my practice jobs were for close friends so if you mess up, who cares? Although, if you follow the steps I would say its almost impossible to screw this up.  With tech support and the manual its tough to get backed into a corner.  I have attached a few pictures of some jobs that I have completed.

Thanks again to Chuck, Ethan, Ryan, Peter and everyone else from CTi for all the help, and future assistance!

Hey Chuck

I just wanted to say thanks for all your help on April 29, 2010.  You answered all the engineers questions and also solved some major problems.  The end sample looked great and they are very impressed with our product.  Now it's not a question of are we going to get the job but when do they want us to start. I hope you will be able to come back when we get to the last section of dock. Thanks again for all your help, could not have done it without you...

I'm excited for this year.  I had over 40 people invite me to take a look at their projects at the local home show, and probably twice that amount took my info to contact me!!! I'm just finishing up one project that I sold off of that.  The couple lives in a small town and they want to help me get a bunch more work!!

I'm still learnng a lot; things about installation and how I need to do estimates and quotes so that I can maximize my profits, but I'm getting there.

Hello CTI Headquarters!

We just finished our first home show. We are very pumped up about upcoming potential business! The show was put on by RJ Promotions. They put on an outstanding show and we had an awesome response to our product. The show started on Thursday and ended on Sunday. We had a 10 X 10 booth which we found to be a little too small to demonstrate everything we wanted to. The floor of our booth was made out of 3’ x 5’ sample boards. It looked great and gave customers many examples of what can be done. (Unlike the competition that had a brochure with about 6-8 patterns they would do!) Several people walked up to us with the competitors brochure and crumpled them up and said, “Tell me what you can do for my ugly concrete!!!”

We had a Rubbermaid tote with two concrete walking stones in it. One was plain concrete. The other was sprayed with CTI product and sealed. We used this to demonstrate the effects of acid and oil on plain concrete and on concrete with CTI product. We found this to be an excellent testimonial to our product and a big blow to the competition’s. when customers would ask them if their product stood up to chemicals such as acid they would avoid the questions. When asked if their products resists stains they also avoided that question but, eventually answered, “Everything till stain eventually.”

Our booth was next to Hot Spring Spas. We had made a floor out of Durock and put it under one of their hot tubs they had on display. Seeing a floor under a hot tub really puts people’s imaginations into gear. Hot Spring Spas has agreed to let us put floors down throughout their entire display (which at this show was 20 x 60).

I have had at least three appointments per day this week. These are from people who are calling us (they saw us at the home show) and from people who signed up for more information at the home show. Our mailers have been received the past week and we have started getting some responses from them also.

We definitely believe home shows are a great way to get our name out there and show off CTI product (especially when the competition is right around the corner).

Thanks

I was really pleased with the Training Course and Seminar. Top notch all the way.

Obviously talented and well informed instruction from all parties.

Still not sure exactly how I’ll be incorporating this product with our other services, but most of my indecision is caused by the large potential that was demonstrated so well. As I explained earlier, my original thoughts were based around “getting more money” from our current customer base. No I see an even larger potential for using this product to “increase” our customer base.

We look forward to getting our order and continuing our learning process.

Please pass along thanks to Marc, Chuck, Dale, Brad and all the others that had a part in making for an enjoyable and very informative couple of days.

As you know, I stayed the weekend and had a great time. The Tampa/Clearwater area is so pleasant. Great weather and views, but the friendly people mean the most.

Dear Dale,

Finally I’m getting around to a short letter. First of all I want to thank you, Chuck and everyone else at the corporate office for all the support you’ve provided since I opened my business last year. The advice you’ve given has been invaluable and it’s great to know that it comes by just a simple phone call.

The more I work with our products, the more confident I become in knowing how tremendously superior they are as compared to anything else on the market. I’ve also learned that skim coats fry very fast in this Texas heat and that mixing HDM requires a powerful mixer!

You had asked for pictures… here they are! Both driveways are about 30 years old… one had really bad cracks and lots of settling. I earned every dime of what I got from that job and the homeowners love it. They saved about $8,000 since their only option was a new drive. In addition, you’ll find a picture of my first try at a CTI logo for my display the Home and Garden Show…. Built from scratch in my own garage! I’ve learned these shows are a great point of contact for potential customers…. Really a “touch/feely” opportunity! They pay for themselves.

Again, thanks for everything…. And best wishes to everyone in the largo office.

Sincerely,

I just wanted to thank you for all your work and dedication to my little business. Over the past many months you have responded to my calls of questions and concerns. Now, my business is starting to grow and at a rate I am not very comfortable with! Has anyone ever said "Too Much"? I have 5 jobs under contract, picked up another today when I went to get a down payment and had 4 calls for requests for bids plus, made an appointment with another party to select their texture and colors for a house they are building. (I almost forgot about these guys!)

I wanted to let you know how excited we are about the response we received from our March home show. Our goal was to sell two jobs per week in order to meet our revenue and business goals. It has only been three weeks since the show and we already have two jobs sold per week through June! In addition, we also have 50 leads that we haven't set appointments with yet so it looks like most of our year will be set by this one show alone. I can't tell you how excited we are about how our Dealership is progressing. You guys have been great.

I want to extend a huge thank you to all of you at CTI. We have successfully completed our first job!! I have to admit that going into it we were a little unsure of ourselves after our delay from training to actually doing our first job. I also had to admit that I was really curious to see how well CTI supported you as a new dealer and what that relationship would be like. You guys make a lot of promises and I have to say that you honestly back them up 100%. I am glad to be a part of the team and I look forward to growing my company with you. I can’t say thanks enough for all of the support and help. You have all been great in answering any and all questions in a timely manner and everyone at CTI will go the extra mile!

Hi Sean,

Just to let you know, the $35.00 booth I purchased for the local Fall Fest. was well worth it. The people saw the CTi products and then realized that's what they need. I have already signed up a job for this week and I think more will follow soon.

I realize that I really need to get the word out about these products. People do want this. I looked at the web site and I saw a lot of pictures of jobs completed. I know how they did most of them and I am going to create a few more different type of sample boards and push them.

I created a short survey form and mailed it out for all of my customers. I am getting great feedback from them. I will use them from now on. I will have these forms for new customers to see in the pitch book.

...This job is for a pool deck and a sidewalk for a total of 699 s.f. I bid the job at $3870 and got it. The guy tried to knock me down on price, but I was like the mighty oak tree. I suggested that we delete the herringbone pattern on the sidewalk to lower the price a little and he agreed. As I wrote the contract, he went to talk to his wife and got over-ruled on the herringbone. He quickly returned and said to please go back to the original plan of herringbone on the sidewalk and a brick border around the pool.

Thanks for the excellent dealer support

My CTI business here in Las Vegas is really cooking now. I have sent Chuck some recent photos and will be sending more soon. My business has been growing slow and mostly by choice. I want everyone who works with me to know exactly how to do our applications and I want no call-backs. My goal is to have another crew working within the next 6 months. We have done some very interesting work. We just finished the pool deck of the largest residential pool in Las Vegas. The pool builder (installs over 1100 pools each year) is hiring a helicopter and film crew to make a commercial of this job. It will be aired on TV next year and I am in negotiations with them to see if it may be worth something for us to have our name put in the commercial. We have done some of the rich and famous as well as ordinary folk. As of this moment we have around $75,000 worth of work committed and around $50,000 pending. It seems to stay at this range at all times and we don't advertise.

Just wanted to say thanks for your effort and that of the staff at CTI. The rally was both informative and a source of motivation. I was able to learn from the other dealers about the business as a whole and I hope I can draw from their unique experiences. It is motivating to see the success of the dealers that were in attendance.

Dear Friends,

We just wanted to take a few minutes to thank you for the excellent service given to us during our recent purchase of our CTi dealership. Sean Epperson was right there with us every step of the way! He answered every question we had (we had many!!!) and was always honest and professional. Sean gave us time to think the whole process over and never pushed or pressured us to make a decision.
When we arrived in Largo, Sean made us feel at home and introduced us to all of the CTi crew. We were nervous about the training but Chuck Brewer quickly put us at ease. Chuck makes learning the process a blast!! Chuck welcomes questions and comments and has the new dealers get right in there and give it a try.
Brad Heineman gave us great advertising and marketing advice and did an excellent job with computer software training. Brad continues to keep in touch via the internet with helpful information.
We really feel like a part of the CTi family! We are getting ready to do our fist CTi job, 1300 square feet of interior floor! We will email pictures when we get finished.
Thanks again for all that you’ve done for us. We look forward to many years of beautifying concrete in Northern Wisconsin!

Sincerely,

Just wanted to say thanks for everything you have done for us. The whole trip was a great success and we learned a great deal about your products, how to apply them and how to sell them. CTi has a great team of people and I am glad to be a part of it.

Dear CTi:

I would like to take a moment to personally thank Keith Montor for his aid in my starting with CTi. As most new Dealers, I was apprehensive of a new product as well as starting a business. Throughout the process I found Keith to be more than informative, and well acquainted with the cycles and obstacles a new business has to overcome, and the integrity to expound on the solid resolve I would need to maintain through this first year when the rubber meets the road.

What I found to be the biggest sales point for me was the honesty with which each of my questions was handled. All of the staff at CTi have been very helpful and a friendly resource throughout my experience, but I would specifically like to thank Keith Montor for his role in introducing me to the CTi System to find out what a great team I have to rely on.

...I have had a lot of fun and am EXTREMELY satisfied with CTi's product AND support. Chuck, Ethan and Sonny are awesome and they earned my trust and confidence from the very first call for help on my first job. Chuck's first words of advice? "First of all, Glen, just breathe in and out." Turns out I didn't even realize I wasn't breathing, but he knew it, and it made all the difference. This first year really confirmed to me that I made the right decision about who to team up with in my new business venture.

Hi Larry,

I just signed my 2nd Hallmark Job, its for $9,750.00. The owners were up front and said they wouldnt pay more than $7500.00 for any of the work. I sat with then this Sunday for over 3 hours going over options and changing things around. We spent at least an hour with a roll of tape walking around the pool and patio area and I taped little 2x2 areas in different patterns for ideas. It ended with a sign contract for the full amount and I through in a compass stencil in the middle of the patio and added a small front step (2ft x 4ft) in with it. They signed and wrote me a deposit with a smile! The wife wants a price for the entire basement when Im done in the fall.
Just keeping you in the Loop!!!
To Success!

Larry,

Just wanted to update you on our progress.

The home show is complete and our first 1,000 mailers have hit the homes, the basic result...

15 homeowners from the show want us to visit their homes within a month, another 10 2-4 months
6 homeowners with mailers want us to visit their home right away.

We have been visiting homes and providing quotes the past three days, the basic result...

11,000 sq ft of quotes with another 5,000 to be quoted over the next 2 days.
We quoted $60,000 worth of business, we would have been $6,500 higher but I offered 20% to 2 people in order to get my first job in 'The Landings" (4,500 homes, 5 star resort area). I expect the quote on the additional 5,000 feet to exceed $25,000.

I placed a two week time period on the quotes, emphising we are about quality not quantitiy and once we start to book the time frame will extend out - "its best to book us before we hit our busy period"

The quotes have been written and delivered, I think a 50% acceptence is possible.

Customers have been very nice and many have mentioned how pleased they are with the presentation - thanks for providing us with great marketing material.

I'll be in touch within the week to let you know if we caught any fish - lets hope one is the size of a whale.

I just wanted to drop all of you a quick line to say thanks for the a very informative and fun rally this past weekend. I really like the new product line you all have worked so hard on and I definitely think it will be a great addition to our arsenal of services that we offer.

I pride my company in being involved and surrounded by such a dedicated and faithful company, so my thanks once again goes out to all of you down there in warm sunny (sometimes rainy) Florida.

In summary, from the snow filled patios, pool decks, and walkways of Pittsburgh PA, I am looking forward to another successful season with CTi. Take care.

Peter:

We are a painting and floor covering business who employ 30 employees year round. I purchased this business in 1976 from W.O. Moore who had it 29 years so we have been in business for over 60 years. The business has grown since I purchased it from $70,000 annual gross sales to over 2 million last year.

We were looking for other areas to grow our business and came across CTI through trade magazines. I inquired about the product and realized a market for it in our business. Myself and 3 of my superintendents went to Florida and completed the training; came back and completed our first job the first week that we received our materials.

We found the product easy to work with. With a little creativity you can achieve any result. The first job completed sold 3 more jobs and we have continued to have a back log of work. This was 6 months ago. We have not spent one nickel on advertisement, the product sells itself. People see it and they buy it.

We have found Chuck ( Head Technical Advisor ) to be very knowledgeable of these products and always willing to help out with any problems or questions that you may have.

The potential for a profitable business is certainly here and we look forward to a long and profitable association with CTI.

To everyone at CTI

I wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks. I was a little apprehensive at the beginning of this partnership, but thanks to Sean it has been a very enlighting experience. Sean’s professionalism and knowledge of the product made me take the next step to becoming a CTI Dealer.

The training I attended in Florida for new dealers was a lot more than I expected. Everyone there from Sean, Chuck, Brad, Ethan and Ryan were extremely helpful and I appreciate all that they shared with me.

What I have learned since becoming a CTI Dealer is that from the sales pitch to the training prior to becoming a Dealer is real. It was not just to get me signed up and then say good luck with your Dealership, but the people at CTI really do care and want you to succeed in your business.

In closing I again want to say thank you especially to Sean and Chuck, without their sincere attitude and enthusiasm I would not be a Dealer today. I look forward to a long and prosperous partnership.

Thanks to everyone.

To Whom it May Concern:

My name is Jamie Koonce and I found the CTI opportunity while searching for a new career. My job in the Technology industry was going overseas and I had grown tired of travel, late-night meetings and working for someone else. I decided to search for something I could do for myself and found CTI. I had been around construction in some manner most of my life (dad was a concrete finisher, college jobs, doing fix and flips) but never to this extent and never owning my own company.

I decided I would take the plunge and headed down to training still somewhat skeptical but knowing I could still back out. I also decided to bring a friend of mine with me to basically have another set of eyes and be a ‘devil’s advocate’. We were both very impressed with the CTI folks and the product. Actually, my friend was so impressed, he decided to also become a dealer in a neighboring county! My wife and I are still actively trying to grow our business and have been having fun doing it.

My experience with CTi has been very very good. I am happy with the support and service I have received CTi . I am anxious to get started as soon as the weather permits here in Michigan. The interest in the products has been much better than my expectations were. That is fantastic for me and reassuring. We just did the first Home and Garden Show in Canton, Michigan with another dealer in Novi. The interest that people had was great and it gave me a chance to tell others about it.

I believe that the Euro Concepts countertop resurfacing product is going to be very popular. During the show people wanted us to call them and they were going to contact us in the future for that particular product. I am excited for the next show in April.

The training in January and the rally in February were full of information. I will expect CTi to offer continuous training in the future due to how much there is to learn from other dealers thought them. And the seemingly endless possibilities for the product applications.

Dear Mr. Brewer:

It is with heartfelt appreciation that I write you today. The
countertop samples arrived in fine condition and will assist in my effort to sell the bejeezus out of your new Eurobond product.

I have six sold orders (even without benefit of these fine samples) and can only imagine where this will go from here. We hope to begin cranking the tops out the week after next. What fun.

Most sincerely yours in cement,

PS Send our best to Ryan and Ethan - we ran your training video's on one screen and photo gallery on the other for three days of last weekend's home show - don't be surprised when the phone starts ringing with movie contract offers :)

Sean Epperson,

I just wanted to write a quick note and thank you and the staff at Concrete Technology, Inc.
As you may recall in November of 2006 my wife and I made an appointment to meet with you while checking out a couple other companies in the Florida area and even though we were running late and it was quitting time, you said you would stick around. Needless to say we arrived and took the tour and asked all the questions we could and you answered everyone of them, then we realized it was after 6:30 pm and called it a night. After much deliberation we selected the Platinum package with CTI in December, went to class in January 2008 and began a decorative concrete business with some new friends/mentors.
This dealership has offered us supportive training as well as quality products with technical support that is second to none and best of all I can get a live person whenever I need a question answered even in the middle of a job.
We just attended our first dealer rally where we met several other dealers from all over the U.S. and got a few new ideas to market our business.
When Chuck and Ethan introduced the new product for countertops man let me tell you, we got exited! “The Euro Bond System” is just what the doctor ordered. Now we can work inside when it’s raining (which it does a lot in sunny Florida), and outside when its not and continue making money.
After a year, we’re still glad we went with CTi. You guys are the greatest for keeping the vision.

Brad,

Thanks for the info. Customer decided on a stone trowel effect, $6.50 a square foot.

We reached the 20,000 square ft mark for installs in our first six months of operation with this sale. Tomorrow I have a meeting with a group of 30 Realtors for a 20 minute presentation, this should help lead to long term success.

Thanks for all your help,

I am writing this letter to describe my entry into the family of Cti dealers and, more specifically, my experience in working with dealer advisor Keith Montor.

To start, this was a career change for me. I had spent 15 years in a completely different vocation. When I decided to leave that field and go into business for myself, I spent a lot of time researching various franchise and dealership opportunities. Keith was my primary contact at Cti. Being new to working with concrete meant that I had many questions. Keith was patient and informative. We talked about the technical process, marketing/selling, the financial possibilities and signs that I would be a good dealer/installer. When Keith didn’t know an answer, he would get back to me in a timely way. He went at my pace and I never felt like I was being sold overly aggressively.

Over time, I eliminated other possibilities and focused on Cti. The time came to go to “concrete school” in Florida. The training was very helpful, more hands on than I expected, and I came away with a good knowledge of how to apply four different Cti treatments. During those days, I also had several sit-down sessions with Keith. Although his job at this point was clearly to close the sale, I still experienced him to be ethical and professional, not hard sell.

At the next step, Keith helped me decide on the mix of products for my initial order. He worked with me to reduce shipping costs. He made taking this big step of becoming a Cti dealer as pleasant as it could be. Even though my primary interface with Cti people is now in technical support and in ordering products, I look forward to talking with Keith every other week or so.

A few other things… I did my training in the fall. It was becoming winter, our rainy season in coastal Northern California, by the time I was ready to go. Still, I’ve had enough dry weather to work. The pace has been a little slow, but it has been a great learning pace. I’m starting to get referrals from my first jobs. I put quite a bit into advertising early on, but the referrals are truly powerful. This is a visual product, and there’s nothing like seeing it, at scale, on your neighbor’s patio or driveway. As my referrals add up, and as I’m getting better and faster at this work, I’m expecting a profitable and busy spring/summer!

You have to decide for yourself whether this is the right business for you. I am confident that Keith Montor will be helpful to you, professional and ethical, as you make that decision. If you do go forward, you can expect him to continue in the way well into your early months as a Cti dealer.

Dear CTI:

I would like to thank you for helping us to get our company started. You have been very helpful in answering our questions. It’s nice to know that we are now a part of a company who really cares about the success of its Dealers. The technical support that CTI provides is outstanding. Our company is confident that we can tackle any project large or small due to the extensive structural repair training and field support that CTI has provided.

The biggest benefit that CTI has provided for us is what I consider our most powerful marketing tool we have (the direct mailers). In my opinion the direct mailer is the easiest way to instantly and consistently get work. When we first started our company we didn’t know anyone in the area, in our field, or where to even start advertising. Brad suggested that we send out direct mailers and instantly we had more business than we could handle. Brad helped us pick out the demographics he thought would be the best for our area. Whether we only wanted to send mailers to people in certain income brackets or had a certain type of home. Brad compiled a list of names and addresses that fit the criteria we wanted and then sent out direct mail cards with our companies contact information and a brief summary of what we do.

For under $1,500, we were able to send our mailers to 3000 people. The day the mailers reached the customers we received 15 phone calls. Before we could complete the work we had received over 50 responses totaling over $30,000 worth of work. That’s more than a 2000% return on our advertising dollars. Since then we have sent out mailers every month and each time they come out the response is the same. There are still people calling us from mailers we sent out four months ago. They received our mailers and had other projects to do first, or recently had friends that were interested in having work done. Overall the response to our mailers has been incredible. We have since added several employees to our company and each time we send out a mailer, we have the option to grow even more.

Once again thank you for all your help. We look forward to growing with you.

Dear Chuck,

Thank you for the great information you shared with me on closing. The article you sent was also very helpful.

These simple suggestions have helped me a lot.

What do you want our product to do for you?

This lets the client reinforce their own "need" for our products. Instead of me telling them how much they need our products, they are listening to themselves. Then I show them how our products fill those needs.

Ask for the check.

As you know this was the hardest for me and happily I say WAS, thanks to you. My frame of mind about this now is: I like extra money and the only way I get extra money is from the sale. I only get a sale if I have a check in my hand (not too many times in my life has anyone said here have a check.) so I have to ask. I have shown them the best products to fit their situation. They need our product and if I don’t ask, at sometime someone else will. So…I need a down payment of ______.

Ask for help and use the information.

I think the most important information you have shared with me is listen to and use the information your CTI Representatives gives you.

Simply, why would you tell me something that is not going to help because that has no benefit to any of us, CTI, Chuck, Re-New-It Customized Concrete, Marjorie and the clients.

Chuck, please accept my sincere "Thank You" for all the things you have helped me with over the past several months. You and your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Mr. Rosenberger,

We are writing to thank you and the staff at CTI for the excellent support we have received. We recently had Chuck Brewer here for a second visit and training and it could not have come at a better time. Starting a new business with an unfamiliar product is very difficult and at times seems overwhelming. However, the unfailing support we have received from CTI has given us the confidence to believe we will be very successful. Prior to Chuck’s visit we were struggling in a variety of areas not the least of which was installations. Since his visit here, everything has changed for the better. Our production rate has at least doubled, and because we were able to discuss our business plans with Chuck here, we are now aggressively advertising again and the future looks very bright.

We are very pleased with our decision to invest in a CTI Dealership. There are many different businesses to choose from and we can honestly say that CTI is among the best because of the professional support we have received.

We would be happy to recommend CTI to anyone.

Dear Diana:

Enclosed is a photo of a logo we did for a daycare funded by Microsoft, Bill Gates and his wife will be hosting a grand opening in the middle of October. CNN will be there filming this grand opening. This daycare is the first in the nation to have web-cams throughout the building so that parents can log on to the Internet and watch their children while at work.

As you can see this was a huge improvement for the establishment, the Co-Founder and his wife were looking for something original to personalize the daycare. We found a great sign company to cut our stencils, the design comes from the letterhead found on all of their signs and business cards. (Northwest child development center) The colors were chosen from other similar logos found in the daycare. We put a brick border around the logo to match the rest of the building.

I had a lot of fun with this job, everyone is very impressed, it’s hard to explain to someone exactly what we do but when they see it they can’t believe their eyes. The sign company was so impressed that they are putting our photo up in their office for sign of the month. This job has also struck the attention of the Co-founders wife, she would like to have animal paw prints across her driveway and up the sidewalk, we will keep you informed about this one. We are having a lot of fun here in Seattle.

Chuck,

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for everything you did during the two days I was at class.  You, Eathan, and Ryan did an unbelievable job keeping the class not only informative but also fun and interesting.  The days seemed to fly by.  You have the perfect personality to be teaching a class like that.  If there was any doubt in my mind before class, you and your staff made me a firm believer by the end of class.  I also had a very good dealer adviser in Mr. Scousboe, he was also very knowledgeble and helpful.  The whole experience was just as organized and professional as one could expect.  Again, thank you to you, Eathan and Ryan.

I want to take a moment and thank you for the opportunity CTi has given me over the last few years to spread your product in all areas of Central Florida.

My customers have been satisfied with the product and as of today all of our work is coming in via referral.

I believe in Companies who will stand by their product and also their dealers. In the world we live in today you know this is hard to come by.

I will continue to use the CTi product and seek my financial goal for my retirement.

Hottest Home Service Small Business Franchises

December 23rd, 2009 | Author:

For Franchise.net

The largest investment the average person will ever make is the purchase of their home, so it only makes sense that the home is one of the most precious possessions that any American has and is something that they are willing to continue.  For that reason, home service businesses can often be some of the most profitable business opportunities available. If getting into an industry that serves people right where they live and provides you with a steady stream of clientele and income is appealing to you, then check out the following list of franchises that do precisely that.

CTi-Concrete Technology

Though many people may not think often about what they’re walking on when they take a stroll across a nice bathroom floor or a walkway in the backyard, concrete is an addition that can add real beauty to a home. The average person, though, is not going take it on as a personal project because concrete is very hard to do right, which is why companies like CTi-Concrete Technology exist. The great thing about this concrete restoration small business is that franchisees need not have previous concrete experience to be successful; they need only to be driven to succeed and eager to learn. Even after initial training, 24-hour support allows franchisees the freedom to take on jobs and simply call for help when they run into a speed bump they’ve never encountered.

Hello Brad,

I enjoyed meeting you and wanted to thank you again for your presentation last Friday.  The information was very informative and helpful.  You've consolidated a lot of valuable information in your class that I'm sure will be very beneficial to my new business.  I wish there had been time to hear more.  By the way, anyone that can keep me from falling asleep for that length of time must be good!

I look forward to working with you on my website later this week.

Best regards,
